Global health non-profit seeks a temporary, bilingual (French) Program Assistant to support the Associate Program Manager.
Qualifications:
- Native/fluency in French language, verbal and written.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Adaptability to changing work environment and juggling competing demands.
- Goal-oriented and excellent work ethic.
- Ability to work in a team with competing priorities.
- Proficient in MS Office, Google Suite applications, and online/video communications software (i.e., Outlook/Zoom/Teams/GoToMeeting).
- Ability to maintain client-donor and company project confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Public Health focus preferred
- 2-3 years professional experience in non-profit or international setting.
- Fluency in French and English.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Associate Program Manager on operational activities, meetings, and projects.
- Support general office staff with IT, HR, and financial management.
- Translate technical report and documents between French and English.
- Generate and prepare meetings, agendas, and monthly calls between staff, clients, and donors.
- Work largely with their portfolios to develop, review, and edit contracts relevant to current and old projects. Report new changes as needed.
- Collaborate with donors and prime contractors to maintain relations and contract understanding.
- Update blog and technical briefs as necessary to maintain appropriate public, donor, and client understanding on impact to global and public health.
Salary: $20.00 an hour
