Health education nonprofit seeks Communications Specialist to develop and implement strategic communications to increase awareness of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a communications strategy to promote the efforts of the organization to all key stakeholders.
- Work with other departments and teams to identify opportunities to improve communications.
- Develop and present reports, newsletters, web content, and other materials with organizational leadership.
- Plan and execute video projects.
- Manage organizational databases.
- Research and recommend new areas to improve communications and reach new target audiences.
- Monitor discussion board to identify issues and concerns.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Highly organized, detail oriented and adaptable.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Familiarity with survey software like Survey Monkey preferred.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, master’s preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in communications and project management.
- Experience writing, editing, and proofreading.
Salary: $70,000 – $75,000 per year.
