Membership Services Coordinator [3137]

DC based labor union seeks Membership Services Coordinator to support existing members and provide administrative support to multiple departments as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle member inquiries and provide information on a variety of topics including member benefits.
  • Prepare memos, letters, reports, and other documents using MS Office.
  • Ensure all data pertaining to members is up to date and accurate.
  • Organize and disseminate mail and process returned mail.
  • Provide event planning support by confirming local membership numbers, assisting in the production of name tags, and other tasks as needed.
  • Attend both internal and external staff training sessions.
  • Provide administrative support to a variety of departments as needed.
  • Take inventory and stock organization merchandise, giveaway items, and office supplies.
  • Act as a receptionist as needed through receiving and routing phone calls and greeting and assisting visitors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to handle and resolve needs of members
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database programs

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of clerical/administrative experience

Salary: $50,000 – $53,000
