Program Associate [1636]

Nonprofit community music school seeks a temp-to-perm Program Associate to provide programmatic, administrative, and communications support. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support student retention and recruitment efforts by identifying leads and conducting outreach.
  • Interact with the public, alumni, and faculty members via phone, email, and company website. Address any inquiries or requests. 
  • Update and maintain database, including entering student registration information, donation records, and payments. 
  • Develop forms and create invoices. 
  • Oversee musical performance operations, such as student recitals, professional concerts, and outreach concerts. 
  • Assist with event logistics by selecting venues, arranging volunteers, handling audio-visual requests, and printing programs. 
  • Manage vendors and coordinate rentals. 
  • Other tasks as assigned.  

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Professional phone manner and demeanor. 
  • Customer service oriented. 
  • Willingness to collaborate and work in a team environment. 
  • Strong computer and software skills and proficiency in Google Workspace, Adobe, and Canva. 
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Understanding of standard office policies and procedures. 

Requirements:

  • At least three (3) years of experience managing music and arts education programs. 
  • Digital communications or graphic design experience preferred. 

Rate: $20 per hour while temping.

Salary: $55,000 per year once permanent.
