Nonprofit organization supporting healthcare research seeks a permanent Publications Coordinator to manage the manuscript submission and review processes.
Responsibilities:
- Submit and track manuscripts for peer review. Report on overdue reviews.
- Prepare documents to be sent to advisory boards and committees.
- Prepare agendas and take meeting minutes.
- Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
- Maintain and update spreadsheets.
- Handle internal scheduling of conference calls.
- Prepare correspondence and liaise with internal departments.
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines effectively.
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience.
- Two years of experience managing publications.
Salary: $45,000 – $50,000 per year.
