Foundation focused on affordable education seeks a permanent Advancement Assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain strong communication and liaise with key stakeholders.
- Coordinate gifts for donors, board members, and event leaders.
- Maintain records and update internal database system.
- Maintain membership module.
- Assist with the planning and execution of meetings, events, and ceremonies.
- Support departmental projects and objectives by assisting with project management.
- Other duties and tasks assigned which support the company mission.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly organized and attentive to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to exercise good judgement given minimal direction.
- Strong foresight and ability to anticipate needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Ability to manage pressure and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong commitment to the company’s mission.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office applications.
Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of administrative experience.
- Previous experience working in a nonprofit organization a plus.
- Previous experience working with veteran families or military services a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
Salary: $55,000 per year.
