Operations Assistant [9411]

Nonprofit organization seeks a temporary-to-permanent Operations Assistant to keep the office running smoothly by providing strong administrative support.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep office organized.
  • Track and order office supplies.
  • Greet visitors and vendors into office space.
  • Maintain in-office equipment, such as copiers, printers, and phones, troubleshooting any issues as necessary.
  • Receive and distribute incoming mail to staff.
  • Coordinate employee appreciation activities and events.
  • Assist the accounting department by inputting vendor invoices and making deposits.
  • Prepare, draft, and edit correspondence.
  • Schedule meetings and maintain an internal calendar.
  • Assist with business operations and human resources tasks.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Interest to work in human resources.
  • Goal-oriented and possesses excellent work ethic.
  • Familiarity with standard office equipment and office policies and procedures.
  • Highly organized and attentive to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Professional and positive attitude.

Requirements:

  •  Minimum of one year of administrative experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Rate: $20 per hour.

Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 per year once permanent.
