DC-based non-profit company seeks permanent Administrative Assistant to keep office running smoothly by providing strong administrative support. This is a hybrid role, working four days in office.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with scheduling, filing, and processing expense reports.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate individual or department.
- Greet office visitors and direct them to appropriate personnel.
- Collect and distribute incoming mail.
- Manage email inbox.
- Ensure office equipment is functioning properly.
- Track inventory and ensure office is stocked and organized.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Strong proofreading and editing skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information.
- Strong database management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Previous experience working in an administrative role preferred.
Salary: $50,000 – 60,000 per year.
