Administrative Assistant [3891]

DC-based non-profit company seeks permanent Administrative Assistant to keep office running smoothly by providing strong administrative support. This is a hybrid role, working four days in office.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with scheduling, filing, and processing expense reports.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate individual or department.
  • Greet office visitors and direct them to appropriate personnel.
  • Collect and distribute incoming mail.
  • Manage email inbox.
  • Ensure office equipment is functioning properly.
  • Track inventory and ensure office is stocked and organized.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong proofreading and editing skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information.
  • Strong database management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience working in an administrative role preferred.

Salary: $50,000 – 60,000 per year.
