Assistant Director of Development [4057]

Educational nonprofit seeks a permanent Assistant Director of Development to facilitate donor acquisition and retention and support fundraising efforts.


  • Continually manage and develop fundraising programs alongside the senior leadership team.
  • Establish annual fundraising goals and assist with the implementation and execution of projects.
  • Support the donor acquisition processes by identifying potential donors and corporate partners, creating gift proposals for prospective donors, and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Lead prospective donor meetings and handle inquiries.
  • Identify important metrics and trends in fundraising and provide suggestions for improvement based on findings.
  • Manage fundraising database and assist finance team with ensuring financial procedures are updated.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of previous experience in fundraising or donor relations.
  • Previous experience working for an association or higher education organization preferred.

Salary: $75,000 – $77,000 per year.
