Controller [3794]

Company working in the defense and space industry seeks a permanent Controller to manage internal accounting processes and ensure financial stability. This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting operations and company finances by assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, and cash flow management.
• Prepare and audit financial reports and statements.
• Develop internal processes to ensure compliance with accounting principles and local, state, and federal laws.
• Act as a mentor for the accounting team and assist in the performance review process.
• Assist members of senior leadership in improving the organization’s operational systems.
• Implement new financial processes and train staff in new technological systems.
• Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or defense contracting.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Salary: $150,000 – $180,000 per year.
