Event Coordinator [2321]

Non-profit association seeks a temporary Event Coordinator to coordinate logistics for in-person and virtual conferences.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and develop content for events and annual conferences.
  • Register speakers for events and administer speaker contracts through event management software.
  • Gather and organize conference materials, such as bios, abstracts, and travel arrangements within databases.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and lodging.
  • Maintain and update event information and resources on websites and apps.
  • Review content for marketing materials.
  • Assist in the program evaluation process and provide reports and analysis.
  • Track fees and process experience reimbursements.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment given minimal direction.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to efficiently prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized and attentive to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with C-suite executives and board directors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least two (2) years of administrative and/or project management experience.
  • Previous experience using Salesforce and event management software, such as Cvent.

Rate: $25 per hour.
