Non-profit association seeks a temporary Event Coordinator to coordinate logistics for in-person and virtual conferences.
Responsibilities:
- Create and develop content for events and annual conferences.
- Register speakers for events and administer speaker contracts through event management software.
- Gather and organize conference materials, such as bios, abstracts, and travel arrangements within databases.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and lodging.
- Maintain and update event information and resources on websites and apps.
- Review content for marketing materials.
- Assist in the program evaluation process and provide reports and analysis.
- Track fees and process experience reimbursements.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to exercise good judgment given minimal direction.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to efficiently prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized and attentive to detail.
- Ability to effectively communicate with C-suite executives and board directors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least two (2) years of administrative and/or project management experience.
- Previous experience using Salesforce and event management software, such as Cvent.
Rate: $25 per hour.
