Longstanding health advocacy organization seeks a permanent Executive Assistant to provide logistical and administrative support to the executive team and board members.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee scheduling, coordinate travel arrangements, and process expense reports for President and CEO.
- Coordinate board meeting logistics by taking minutes and preparing materials, such as presentations, reports, and agendas.
- Handle board communication and act as the liaison between board members.
- Maintain contact information and board distribution lists. Update documents and forms as needed.
- Assist with project management by establishing deadlines and coordinating deliverables.
- Attend meetings and events as required.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong research, analytical, and proofreading skills.
- Strong initiative, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized and attentive to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to meet deadlines when given multiple competing priorities.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
- Familiarity with general administrative tasks, such as scheduling and coordinating logistics.
- Strong software and computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Graduate degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience working with board members and executives.
Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 per year.
