Nonprofit organization supporting healthcare research seeks a permanent
Exhibits & Meeting Manager to handle exhibition sales, sponsorships, and meeting logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Manage RFP process and research and select meeting vendors.
- Act as the staff liaison for events and annual meetings.
- Manage event logistics by coordinating catering, hotel contracts, and budget
reconciliation. - Collaborate with the Marketing department to prepare communications for website and
social media platforms. - Establish methods to increase revenue through exhibition and sponsorship sales.
- Review event budgets and process payments and reimbursements.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Highly organized and attentive to detail.
- Professional and positive attitude.
- Highly productive and mission driven.
- Create and flexible approach to work.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- CEM or CMP preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience in meeting events.
- Experience working in a nonprofit organization preferred.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per year.
