Government Relations Coordinator [4355]

DC-based association seeks a temp-to-perm Government Relations Coordinator to provide administrative support to the Government Relations team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain internal calendars, duty rosters, workflow tools, and digital files.
  • Coordinate logistics for advocacy events and meetings. 
  • Prepare agendas, take meeting notes, and follow up on action items.
  • Monitor email inbox and manage requests. 
  • Other administrative duties and responsibilities as assigned. 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines effectively. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills. 
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing environments. 
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, project management software, such as Monday.com, and virtual meeting platforms, such as Zoom.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Previous administrative or project coordination experience. 
  • Experience working in an advocacy or nonprofit setting a plus.

Rate: $20 per hour while temping.

Salary: $55,000 – $57,000 once permanent.
