Company working in the defense and space industry seeks a permanent HR Generalist to administer and oversee HR initiatives, strategies, and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee recruitment process by sourcing and screening candidates.
- Create job postings and coordinate interviews.
- Prepare documents such as offer letters and employment agreements.
- Support offboarding process and administer exit interviews.
- Assist with the performance review process by presenting results to senior leadership and creating standards for evaluation.
- Oversee employee benefits program and support annual open enrollment process.
- Update company handbook and ensure compliance and adherence to federal and state labor laws.
- Ensure internal human resources programs and management systems are functioning properly.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Highly organized and attentive to detail.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines effectively.
- Exemplary judgement and problem-solving skills.
- Professional and positive attitude.
- Understanding of a wide range of HR practices and strategies.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications and HR systems.
Requirements:
- College degree in Human Resources or related field.
- At least two (2) years of experience using Paylocity preferred.
- At least two (2) years of administrative experience.
- HR certification preferred.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Salary: $80,000 – $110,000 per year.
