HR Generalist [4033]

Company working in the defense and space industry seeks a permanent HR Generalist to administer and oversee HR initiatives, strategies, and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee recruitment process by sourcing and screening candidates.
  • Create job postings and coordinate interviews.
  • Prepare documents such as offer letters and employment agreements.
  • Support offboarding process and administer exit interviews.
  • Assist with the performance review process by presenting results to senior leadership and creating standards for evaluation.
  • Oversee employee benefits program and support annual open enrollment process.
  • Update company handbook and ensure compliance and adherence to federal and state labor laws.
  • Ensure internal human resources programs and management systems are functioning properly.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Highly organized and attentive to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Exemplary judgement and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional and positive attitude.
  • Understanding of a wide range of HR practices and strategies.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications and HR systems.

Requirements:

  • College degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • At least two (2) years of experience using Paylocity preferred.
  • At least two (2) years of administrative experience.
  • HR certification preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Salary: $80,000 – $110,000 per year.
