Marketing Specialist [4042]

National non-profit in Arlington seeks a temp to perm Marketing Specialist to assist with marketing efforts and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development and implementation of marketing projects, such as workshops and seminars.
  • Coordinate marketing and outreach strategies to increase program and event participation.
  • Assist with planning and logistics for meetings and travel arrangements.
  • Maintain and update online platforms and marketing materials.
  • Develop and maintain internal calendar.
  • Track expenditures.
  • Edit and proofread marketing materials.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Highly organized and proactive.
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Demonstrated cultural competency and awareness.
  • Understanding of marketing strategies and practices.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business or minimum of (3) years of equivalent work experience.
  • Previous event planning experience.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Rate: $22 – $25 per hour while temping.

Salary: $70,000 per year once permanent.
