University’s Federal Relations office seeks a permanent Office Administrator to assist in advancing advocacy priorities and initiatives. The position is based in the Washington, DC office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage travel arrangements and process expense reports.
- Manage internal calendar and coordinate meetings.
- Maintain electronic and hard-copy filing system.
- Correspond with vendors and suppliers to maintain physical office space and equipment.
- Handle work orders and inquiries.
- Monitor office’s operational spending.
- Assist with budget planning and prepare budget forecasts and analyses.
- Coordinate service repairs for office systems.
- Prepare social media content and newsletters.
- Identify effective systems and methods to improve workflow.
- Additional tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly organized and attentive to detail.
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Event planning experience a plus.
- Experience in managing office budgets and IT troubleshooting a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Salary: $68,000 – $74,000 per year.
