Longstanding nonprofit dedicated to the advancement of the liberal arts seeks a permanent Senior Marketing and Social Media Manager to implement marketing campaigns and manage online platforms. This role reports directly to the Director of Marketing.
- Develop ads and digital marketing and communications campaigns in collaboration with senior members of the marketing team, focusing on revenue generation and increasing company visibility.
- Manage social media accounts and budgets and review team’s social media strategies. Create on-brand and compelling social media content and respond to online comments and questions from followers.
- Create and develop monthly e-newsletters and promotional emails. Develop online content for the website.
- Report on pertinent data related to marketing campaigns. Identify important trends and provide suggestions for improvement based on findings.
- Create graphics and videos out of important information and data.
- Oversee media relations efforts and attend events as needed.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly organized and attentive to detail.
- Ability to manage pressure and meet deadlines effectively.
- Ability to both collaborate and work independently.
- Demonstrated professionalism and strong judgment.
- Responsive and attentive to the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong graphic design and video editing skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of email marketing strategies, social media management platforms, content creation tools, and video editing software.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
- Minimum of six years of previous marketing experience.
- Must have experience working for an association or higher education organization.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per year.
