Nonprofit social justice organization seeks a temp to perm Legal Assistant to provide administrative and legal support.
Responsibilities:
- Review and edit documents, presentations, and training materials.
- Assist with research efforts, such as organizing publications and assisting with peer review.
- Support the execution of internal projects, such as training events and grant solicitations.
- Provide technical assistance to senior leadership team.
- Maintain social media accounts.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines effectively.
- Ability to exercise good judgment given minimal direction.
- Highly organized and attentive to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Strong computer skills.
- Familiar with basic office equipment.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in legal field helpful.
Rage: $22 per hour.
Salary: $55,000 per year once permanent.
