Temp of the Month July 2021: Thomas Weaver

Thomas is a recent graduate of Pennsylvania State University, earning his Bachelor of Arts in Economics. While in college, Thomas explored interest in emerging Financial Technologies such as Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain and how they can provide economic security and protections to the disenfranchised. Following his passion, he obtained certification from Duke University’s School of Law in the field of “International Financial Technology Law & Policy”.

He is planning to pursue his J.D. in the future in order to be selected for the Attorney General’s Honors Program with the Department of Justice. If selected, Thomas will become an Assistant United States Attorney and focus on Financial Crimes. In his spare time, he likes to read, graphic design, collect art, and cook international foods.

Temp of the Month June 2021: Viktor Pattianakotta

Viktor is an experienced professional with a demonstrated history of working in international affairs. He is a co-founder of the Indonesian Leadership Foundation, a Maryland-based nonprofit that focuses on developing Indonesia’s future leaders through education and professional development. Since its founding in 2010, the nonprofit has awarded scholarships to 25 underprivileged students to go to college in Indonesia.

Viktor holds a B.A. in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland. In his spare time, he likes to listen to music or podcasts, run, bike, and explore the city.

Temp of the Month May 2021: Lizzy Rader

Lizzy is a graduate of the University of Mary Washington, where she received a B.A. in Theatre with a double minor in Business Administration and Arts Administration. Lizzy has found a passion working with non-profit and arts and cultural organizations in Washington, DC, and hopes to continue her career in this area of work.

In her spare time, Lizzy is a crafting influencer and runs a successful small business called Crafting by Lizzy where she provides crafting tutorials, homemade gifts, business partnerships, and live classes.

Temp of the Month April 2021: Sandra Maduforo

Sandra studied at George Washington University and graduated in January 2020 with a B.S. in Public Health and Economics.

As a Nigerian-American, she is passionate about global health equity and plans to devote her career to making quality healthcare more accessible to all people. She will begin graduate school in the Fall of 2021 to obtain a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology.

In the meantime, Sandra enjoys working to make civil legal aid opportunities more accessible to DC residents who are underserved.
